Laurence Gerard has extensive work experience in the contracts and legal field. Laurence started their career at Schlumberger in 1996 as a Contracts Administrator and worked their way up to become the Worldwide Director of Contracts - Supply Chain Services. During their time at Schlumberger, Laurence provided transactional legal support, drafted and negotiated contracts, implemented processes and policies, and trained and supervised a contracts team. Laurence also served as the North America Contracts Risk Manager, where they led risk management for major projects in the NAFTA region. Laurence later joined Siemens Group as Contracts Management for North America before transitioning to their current role at Transocean as the Director of Contracts.
Laurence Gerard earned a Master's degree in Law from Robert Schuman University's Law and Political Science School in Strasbourg, France from 1984 to 1988.
