Paul Silva

Paul Silva is currently the Captain and Offshore Installation Manager of the Drillship Deepwater Pontus at Transocean. Prior to this role, Paul also served as the Chief Officer for a shipyard project and as a Senior Management System Auditor at the same company. With a background in maritime operations and logistics, Paul has held various roles onboard drillships such as Captain, Chief Officer, Senior and Dynamic Positioning Operator, Second Officer, and Third Officer. Paul also has a Master of Arts degree in Transportation and Logistics Management from American Military University, a Master Certificate in Applied Project Management from Villanova University, and a Bachelor of Science in Maritime Operations and Technology from the United States Merchant Marine Academy.
