About the Opportunity:

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Account Manager (Sales) based in Ardens Grafton, near Stratford-upon-Avon, Warks.

NOTE: This is a hybrid role where you will be expected to work a minimum of 2 days per week in the office. Our unique offices are located about a 10–15-minute journey from either the Stratford-upon-Avon or Honeybourne Stations.

Reporting to the Manager of Regional Sales, you will be the main point of contact responsible for building and maintaining relationships with a diverse range of clients in both the public and private sectors. Your key duties will include generating revenue from new and existing clients within your region and consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets. This will be achieved through phone outreach, product presentations, and participation in trade shows and conferences. You'll focus on understanding client and prospect needs, fostering strong relationships, and strategically promoting and selling Transoft Solutions’ products and services.

In this role, you will be expected to:

  • Achieve sales and performance targets within your assigned territory.
  • Follow a structured approach to selling through daily activities like prospecting and appointment generation.
  • Generate new leads via after-sales follow-ups, cold calling, research, networking, and emails.
  • Follow up promptly on all incoming leads within your territory.
  • Identify, manage, and create profiles for prospects and clients in the CRM database.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers through calls, meetings, and emails.
  • Successfully manage and enhance relationships with Transoft Sales partners within your assigned territory.
  • Act as the primary communication link between clients and the company, ensuring timely and effective responses to enquiries.
  • Manage the entire sales process, targeting top prospects, identifying client needs, negotiating, and closing deals.
  • Address objections, make accurate cost calculations, and provide quotations to secure sales.
  • Review your sales performance using KPIs and submit timely and accurate sales forecasts to management.
  • Attend regular sales meetings, prepare and present sales analysis reports.
  • Attend and assist with trade shows, partner events, conferences, and meetings to promote Transoft’s products.
  • Work collaboratively with different departments as part of the regional sales and services team.

About You:

  • Proven and verifiable track record of achievement in a relevant role, i.e. account management, sales, or client facing/revenue position.
  • Familiarity with design software would be a bonus.
  • You have the ability to network and develop relationships in a competitive environment.
  • You have strong organisational, time management prioritisation skills.
  • You are focused and driven to succeed.
  • You are a team player, but you can also work independently.
  • You have effective negotiation and presentation skills.
  • You have strong computer skills, with a focus on Microsoft Office products (e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • You are able to travel when required.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • You have a degree in a relevant field.
  • You have 1-3 years of sales support or sales experience.
  • CRM system experience is a must.
  • Experience working in the Engineering industry would be an asset.
