Karen Giese P.e.

Karen Giese, P.E. has over 20 years of experience in the transportation industry. Karen is currently the Vice President of US Business Development at Transoft Solutions Inc., where they utilize their technical background and industry network to create opportunities and expand the impact of the company in the transportation safety sector. Prior to this role, Karen worked as a Smart Cities Program Manager at Siemens and as a Regional Director of Business Development at Aimsun. Karen also held positions at PTV Group and PTV America, where they served as the Director of Global Business Development and Vice President of Product Management, respectively. Karen started their career as an Engineering Associate at Kittelson & Associates, Inc.

Karen Giese, P.E. completed their education in Civil Engineering at Iowa State University. Karen obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) and a Master of Science (M.S.) degree from 1993 to 2000. In 2007, they obtained the certification of Professional Engineer from the State of Wisconsin. Additionally, they also became a PTV Vision Certified Trainer in 2007, certified by the PTV Group.
