Gwen Fewell

Gwen Fewell's work experience includes a range of roles in the biotechnology and scientific research fields. Gwen worked as the President and COO of SynVivo, Inc, where they were responsible for overseeing the company's operations. Prior to this, Gwen served as the Chief Commercial Officer at SynVivo, where they played a key role in marketing and sales of the company's 3D tissue and organ-on-chip models.

Before SynVivo, Gwen was a Co-Founder and Director at transOMIC technologies inc., where they later took on the role of Chief Commercial Officer. Gwen also worked at Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Senior Product Marketing Manager, focusing on RNAi and gene expression.

Gwen's earlier experience includes roles at Open Biosystems as the Director of Product Marketing and as a Product Manager for RNAi. Gwen also worked as an R&D Scientist specialized in gene expression analysis at Sigma Aldrich.

Gwen started their career as a Research Associate in the Department of Neuro-Oncology at MD Anderson Cancer Center, and later as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center.

Gwen Fewell completed their Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences at the University of Mumbai from 1983 to 1986. Gwen then pursued a Master's Degree in Neurophysiology at the same institution from 1986 to 1988. Finally, they obtained their PhD in Neuroscience from Florida State University, studying from 1989 to 1994.
