Shamsul Momen

Shamsul Momen is a Contributor Researcher at GT Moringa Limited since January 2022, focusing on Moringa research and fostering global collaborations in genomics and nutrition. Concurrently, Shamsul serves as an Advisor at Community Radio Boral and has been the Chairman of the Board at Bangladesh Lawyers & Activists for Climate Justice Trust since March 2013, emphasizing legal aspects of environmental and climate change issues. As a member of Transparency International Bangladesh (TIB) since 2002, efforts have centered on integrating anti-corruption measures in environmental projects. In the role of Goodwill Ambassador for Globcal International since August 2014, advocacy for global participation in UN initiatives has been a priority. Past roles include Resource Person for Room to Read and Deputy Executive Director at the Organization of Art for Children (OACH), focusing on environmental education. Shamsul's early career was marked by leadership positions in environmental movements and agricultural development initiatives. Educational achievements include a B.Sc in Forestry and certifications in environmental leadership and social entrepreneurship.
