Eric Seidler

Director, Global Mocvd Operations at Transphorm

Eric Seidler has a long history of working in various roles in the engineering and avionics fields. From 1999 to 2005, they worked as an Avionics Technician for the United States Air Force, where they were a Flying Mechanic Program Instructor and trained and certified more than 15 technicians. From 2005 to 2009, they worked at Skyworks Solutions, Inc. as an Equipment Technician III, where they were responsible for sustaining scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of Photolithography, Metrology, and Deposition areas. From 2009 to 2012, they worked at Cree as an Equipment Engineering Technician IV, where they were the equipment owner and responsible for identifying, directing and implementing continuous improvement projects and equipment modifications. Finally, from 2012 to the present, they have been working at Transphorm Inc. as Manager, MOCVD Process and Operations, Sr. Process Engineer - MOCVD, and Equipment Engineer, where they are responsible for installs, upgrades, troubleshooting and repair of various tool-sets, creating automated reports in Microsoft Excel and Access, and designing and modeling components and assemblies in AutoCAD.

Eric Seidler is currently enrolled in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at DeVry University. Eric has also obtained the Lean Foundations certification from LinkedIn in August 2021.
