James Freeman is an experienced Senior Project Controls Engineer with a focus on the Metrolink Capacity Improvement and Renewals and Enhancements Programmes at Transport for Greater Manchester since June 2020. Prior to this, James held roles as a Senior Planning Engineer at Cavendish Nuclear and Wood, contributing to nuclear decommissioning projects and preparing tender programmes. James was also a Project Control Engineer for the Devolution programme at Transport for Greater Manchester and served as Project Controls Manager at United Utilities, managing a team within the Network Construction Alliance and overseeing project performance. James's educational background includes a Master’s Degree from Liverpool John Moores University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics and Management Sciences from The University of Manchester.
