Yusuf Akinlade

Yusuf Akinlade is a Graduate Electrical Engineer at Transport for London, currently involved in the Piccadilly Line Upgrade and Electrical Rolling Stock projects. Yusuf previously served as a Year In Industry Intern, gaining experience in Engineering Delivery Optimisation, System Performance and Integration, and Building Services with a focus on enhancements and renewals. As an Ambassador for Wiser Academy, Yusuf connected leading brands with emerging graduates. Earlier experience includes a full-time role at SOAD Engineering Consult Limited, where roles encompassed energy analysis and design assistance. Yusuf's engineering journey began with a Software Engineer internship at the Nigeria Immigration Service, following a self-taught approach. Yusuf holds a Master of Engineering degree from Sheffield Hallam University and a Bachelor of Engineering from the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta.
