Rayan Alhazmi

Rayan AlHazmi, Ph.D., C.Eng, is an accomplished transportation engineering professional with extensive experience across various leadership and academic roles. Currently serving as General Manager at the Transport General Authority since October 2022, Rayan previously held the position of Director of Transportation Planning at the Royal Commission for Makkah City & Holy Sites from December 2020 to November 2022. Rayan also contributed to academia as an Assistant Professor at Umm Al-Qura University and served as CEO of Hand By Hand USA. Rayan's educational background includes a Ph.D. and a Master's in Transportation Engineering from The Catholic University of America, along with a Smart City credential from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Umm Al-Qura University.
