Cathal Masterson

Cathal Masterson has over 20 years of experience in the transportation sector. Cathal began their career as a Graduate Engineer at Babtie Group in 1997. Cathal then moved on to Booz Allen Hamilton in 2001, where they were an Associate and gained valuable experience in strategic planning, organizational design, and transport economics. In 2006, Masterson joined Jacobs as a Technical Director before transitioning to the National Roads Authority in 2008, where they served as a Project Delivery Manager. Since 2015, they have been with Transport Infrastructure Ireland, initially as the Head of Tolling & Emerging Mobility and currently as the Director of Commercial Operations.

Cathal Masterson completed their education with a MSc in European Construction Management from Nottingham Trent University in the period between 1996 and 1997. Prior to that, they attended Trinity College Dublin from 1991 to 1995, where they focused on Civil, Structural & Environmental Engineering, although they did not obtain a degree from there.
