David Laoide-Kemp is a Senior Engineer specializing in Intelligent Transport Systems at Transport Infrastructure Ireland since July 2015 and serves as Chairperson and previously as Vice Chair of Intelligent Transport Systems Ireland since December 2018. David also contributes as a Guest Lecturer for the “Smart Cities & ICT” module at Technological University Dublin. With a comprehensive background that includes roles as ITS Project Manager at National Roads Authority and Scientific IT Manager at the Marine Institute, David has amassed extensive experience in the field since starting as a Software Engineer at Wootton Jeffreys in 1989. Educational achievements include an MSc in Engineering (Transportation) from Trinity College Dublin and an MSc in Mathematical Modelling from The Manchester Metropolitan University.
