Earlier in his career, Charles worked as an Assistant Attorney General at the Office of the Attorney General of the State of New York from September 2008 to December 2011. Charles holds a Juris Doctor degree from Harvard Law School, obtained between 2005 and 2008, and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Yale University, earned from 1999 to 2003.
