Lauren Jones

Lauren Jones is an IT Specialist and Project Manager at the U.S. Department of Transportation since February 2024, with extensive experience in project management and IT roles across various organizations. As the owner of T-Aware LLC, an online apparel line and blog focused on cultural awareness, Lauren promotes social consciousness through fashion. Previous positions include IT Project Manager and Agile Transformation Lead at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, Co-Founder and Director of Strategy and Operations at Global Leaders of African Descent, and various project management roles in both public and private sectors. Lauren holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Virginia, earned in 2008.
