Ango Sawamoto has a strong background in project management and engineering. Ango started their career at Kiewit, where they worked as a Project Engineer on several high-profile projects. Ango then moved on to StruthersTech, where they continued to work as a Project Engineer. After that, Sawamoto took on the role of Chief Operating Officer at TGOOD Global. Ango later joined BC Hydro, initially as a Project Controls, Contracts Professional, and then as a Sr. Manager in the Supply Contracts Department. Sawamoto then joined FortisBC as a Project Control Specialist, where they were responsible for cost control and owner's cost estimating. Ango is currently working as an Associate Project Director at Transportation Investment Corporation. Before joining Tenshi Consulting Canada where they serve as a Principal Consultant, they briefly held the position of Project Engineer at Kiewit.
Ango Sawamoto's education history begins with their high school education at Burnaby South Secondary School, where they obtained their Highschool Diploma from 1996 to 2001. Following that, they pursued a degree in Mechanical Engineering at The University of British Columbia, earning a BASc from 2001 to 2006.
In terms of additional certifications, Ango Sawamoto has obtained several. In August 2011, they received the Professional Engineer (P.Eng) certification from Engineers and Geoscientists BC.
