Ann Marie Sibbald has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Ann Marie started their career at the University of Ottawa as a Research and Development Engineer, where they conducted experiments on Lithium chemistry power sources. Ann Marie then worked in various roles at the Department of National Defence, including as a Project Manager and Sr. Analyst, where they managed contracts and developed business process models. Ann Marie also served as a Director in infrastructure and environment planning and reporting, as well as in the Government of Canada Strategic Review. Later, they worked at the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat as a Senior Director, responsible for implementing workplace renewal and asset management initiatives. Most recently, they served as the Senior Director of LabsCanada Transportation Safety & Technology Science Hub at the Transportation Safety Board of Canada.
Ann Marie Sibbald's education history begins with their high school diploma from Colonel By High School, which they obtained from 1981 to 1982. Ann Marie then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Ottawa from 1982 to 1986. Additionally, they have obtained two additional certifications: the PMP (Project Management Professional) from the Project Management Institute in 1991 and the P.Eng (Professional Engineer) from Professional Engineers Ontario in 1988.
