Nyree Costello

Nyree Costello has a diverse work experience in various communication and marketing roles. Nyree is currently the Director of Communications at the Transportation Safety Board of Canada. Prior to this, they worked at Natural Resources Canada as a Senior Manager Creative Services, managing a team of graphic designers, videographers, animators, exhibit specialists, and project managers. Nyree also served as the A/Director Digital Communications at Natural Resources Canada. Before that, Nyree was a Senior Strategist for Web and Social Media at Innovation, Science and Economic Development. Nyree has also worked as a Marketing Communications Consultant at SugarLand Media, a Communications Advisor at Health Canada, and a Marketing & Promotions Representative at Sun Media. Nyree has expertise in managing local marketing strategies, social media management, and photography. Nyree has a teaching experience as well, having worked as an Interm Professor at Algonquin College.

Nyree Costello completed a Diploma in Photojournalism from Loyalist College in the years 1993 to 1995. Nyree then pursued a Certificate in Website Design from the University of Calgary from 2001 to 2012. In 2002 and 2003, they obtained a Certificate in Desktop Publishing from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT). Nyree also holds a Bachelor's degree (Honours) in Professional Communications from Athabasca University, which they completed in 2016. Nyree'smost recent educational achievement is an mMBA in Business Administration and Management from McGill University, which they expect to complete in 2021.
