Stephanie Russell

Stephanie Russell currently serves as Senior Vice President, Chief Agent, and Branch Manager at TransRe, a position held since January 2015, where Stephanie also functions as the Appointed Actuary for the Canadian Branch since May 2016. Prior to TransRe, Stephanie held various roles at Aviva Canada from August 2010 to December 2014, including Senior Manager in Corporate Risk and Strategy for Large Commercial and Senior Manager for Large Accounts Pricing. Stephanie's earlier experience includes work as an Actuarial Specialist in Commercial Lines and Senior Actuarial Analyst at Logic Reinsurance from December 2006 to May 2010 and a Catastrophe Analyst and Pricing Actuary at RBC Insurance from March 2005 to December 2006. Stephanie began her career at Bombardier Aerospace as an Acoustics and Vibration Engineer from May 2000 to March 2005. Stephanie holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering with a focus on Applied Mathematics and Mechanical Engineering from Queen's University.
