Susan Muigai

Susan Muigai is the EVP and Chief Human Resources Officer at TransUnion. Susan has extensive experience in human resources, having served in senior positions at Walmart and Massmart Holdings Ltd.

Muigai began their career at Walmart in 2005, where they rose to the position of Senior Vice President People, Walmart International. In this role, they were responsible for developing and implementing strategies for talent acquisition, succession planning, leadership development and total rewards that were adaptable, relevant and competitive across all countries. Susan also advised the International Leadership Team and market CEOs during significant changes to the international portfolio.

In 2017, Muigai left Walmart to join Massmart Holdings Ltd. as a member of the board. Massmart is a publicly traded company headquartered in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Muigai has been with TransUnion since August 2021.

Susan Muigai attended Harvard Business School where they received a PLD in Executive Program for Leadership Development. Susan then went on to York University - Osgoode Hall Law School to receive their Master of Laws in Business Law. After that, they completed their Master of Laws in International Business Law at the University of London. Finally, they received their Bachelor of Laws from the University of Windsor and their Bachelor of Arts in Foreign Languages from Bishop's University. Susan is also certified by the Kenyan Bar and the Ontario Bar Association.
