Amanda Baxter

Amanda Baxter has diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Amanda began their career as a Project Geologist at SAIC in 1999 and then worked as a Geologist at Professional Services Industries from 2000 to 2002. From 2001 to 2003, they served as a Project Scientist at Morris & Ritchie Associates, Inc. and Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. Baxter then joined the Virginia Department of Transportation in 2003 as a NEPA Specialist. In 2005, they became a Regulatory Project Manager at Eyak Technology, LLC, where they led and developed environmental policies for the US DOJ LMR program. In 2006, they joined Whitman, Requardt and Associates, LLP, as a Vice President, a position they held until 2015. Amanda then served as the Special Projects Development Director at the Virginia Department of Transportation from 2015 to 2018. Baxter worked as a Practice Builder at Kimley-Horn from 2018 to 2019 before joining Transurban. At Transurban, they held various roles such as Development Director, North America (2019-2021), Vice President, Operations North America (2021-2022), and currently serves as the Senior Vice President, Virginia Market and Operations, North America.
