Jade Lai

Jade Lai is an experienced Network Engineer at Transurban, focusing on Civil Structures and Asset Engineering since September 2023. Prior experience includes roles at the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator, where responsibilities spanned from Graduate Structural Engineer to Policy Advisor, contributing to streamlined heavy vehicle access conditions and the development of a sustainable bridge assessment framework. Jade also played a key role in the successful planning and delivery of a complex national project under the Strategic Local Government Asset Assessment Project. Earlier experience as a Student in the RoadTek Work Experience Program at the Department of Transport and Main Roads involved data collection and documentation. Jade holds a Master of Engineering Management and a Bachelor of Engineering with a Civil Engineering major from QUT, along with additional training in pharmacy.
