Luisa Skene

Luisa Skene has extensive experience in the legal field, with a focus on technology and information. Luisa began their career as an Associate at Baker & McKenzie, where they had the opportunity to work on secondment in both Tokyo and Melbourne. Luisa then moved on to Minter Ellison Lawyers as a Solicitor before joining Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP as a Senior Associate. In 2009, Luisa joined Transurban as a Legal Director, where they served until 2013. Luisa later returned to Transurban in 2016 as a Senior Counsel, and currently holds the position of Head of Legal - Technology & Information. Prior to joining Transurban, Luisa also worked at Fluor Corporation as Of Counsel.

Luisa Skene obtained their Bachelor of Laws (with Honors) and Bachelor of Commerce degrees from the University of Tasmania between 1996 and 2000, with a field of study in Marketing. Later, they pursued a Graduate Diploma in Energy & Resources Law from the University of Melbourne from 2004 to 2006. In addition to their formal education, Luisa Skene holds certifications as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of Australia, Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Victoria, Legal Practitioner of the Supreme Court of New South Wales, and is a Member of the bar of the State of New York.
