Maci Hamdorf

Maci Hamdorf has a diverse work experience spanning from 2013 to the present. Maci has held various roles in different companies, with a focus on diversity, inclusion, and employee engagement. Maci currently works as an OD Lead - Belonging and Wellbeing at Transurban since November 2022. Previously, they served as the Inclusion and Diversity Lead at Ford Australia and as a Senior Diversity and Inclusion Consultant at the Department of Treasury and Finance, Victoria. Maci has also held positions at RMIT University, where they worked as a Diversity & Inclusion Program Lead and Policy Researcher. Maci started their career as a Diversity & Inclusion Researcher at Iowa State University and gained administrative experience as an Administrative Associate at Iowa Safe Schools. Additionally, they have prior experience as a Personal Lines Underwriter at Auto-Owners Insurance. Throughout their career, Maci has been dedicated to promoting equality, inclusion, and implementing strategies for positive change within organizations.

Maci Hamdorf has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Women & Gender Studies, with a minor in Sociology, which they obtained from Iowa State University in the years 2011 to 2015. In 2013, they also participated in a Greek Study Abroad Program at the ACT - American College of Thessaloniki. Recently, from 2020 to 2021, Maci pursued a Master of Social Policy degree at the University of Melbourne. In addition to their formal education, Maci has obtained a LGBTQ+ Inclusion and Ally Training Certification from Pride in Diversity, although the exact timeframe of when they received this certification is not specified.
