Gerry Trainor

Gerry directs investment sales and real estate investment banking activities throughout the Mid-Atlantic region and is a member of Transwestern’s Board of Directors. Based in Washington, D.C., his primary focus is originating, structuring and executing commercial investment sales and capital market transactions for institutional, corporate, and private owners of real estate.

Gerry has over 30 years of real estate transaction experience representing over $15 billion in value. Since joining Transwestern in 1999, Gerry has sold over 30 million square feet of commercial properties in the Mid-Atlantic Region. Gerry’s clients include: AEW, Blackrock, Cambridge, Cigna, CARR Properties, CDC, Clarion Partners, GE, JP Morgan, JOSS Realty, KBS, LNR, Pearlmark, Penzance, Piedmont, Prudential, Polinger, Morgan Stanley, Northwestern, State Farm, TA Associates, TIAA-CREF and Westport Capital.
