Peter Berg

Peter Berg has a diverse range of work experience spanning over several decades. Peter currently serves as the Managing Director at Transworld M&A Advisors, where they specialize in mergers and acquisitions. With over 30 years of experience and more than 250 completed transactions worth $500 million, they work with business owners on both the sell and buy side for transactions valued at over $5 million. Peter has a team of 85 dealmakers and 15 professionals supporting him across 9 offices in Florida, as well as 800 business advisors in 250 franchised offices across the United States and globally.

Prior to joining Transworld M&A Advisors, Peter held the role of Managing Director at Transworld Business Advisors, the parent company of M&A Advisors. In addition to their responsibilities in the M&A Division, they were a Shareholder and a member of the Board of Directors. Transworld Business Advisors primarily focuses on the sale of businesses valued at less than $1 million. Peter was recognized as the top producing business broker in Florida nine times, including in 2018 and 2019.

Before these roles, Peter served as the CEO of Galacticomm Technologies, a leading Internet server software company with a 50% market share in the 90s. The company had prominent Fortune 500 companies as clients.

Peter also had their own brokerage firm, Berg & Associates Financial Services, where they operated as the CEO. Peter offered a wide array of financial investment products and private placements, while also advising on various mergers and acquisitions.

Their early career began at Prudential Securities/Smith Barney as a Financial Advisor, handling investments for retail clients.
