Ritesh S Ramakrishnan

Experienced in all aspects of business formation, operation and management, Ritesh S. Ramakrishnan, Joint Managing Director, joined the Group in the year 2010. He has since been instrumental in leading the strategy, planning, implementation and business development activities of the Transworld Group. He directly oversees the international operations of the Group companies and currently spearheads Avana Logistek.

A graduate from Purdue University, USA with a B.Sc in Logistics and a double minor in communication and finance in 2009. He has been awarded a distinction certificate after completion of the Galbraith's Shipping Course in London. To further hone his leadership skills, he successfully graduated from the Programme for Leadership Development at Harvard Business School in 2017.

He is is a member at Young Presidents Organization (YPO), the premier global leadership organization of chief executives in the world, and also a member of TiE Dubai a global network of entrepreneurs, business leaders, domain experts and mentors. At such an early stage in his entrepreneurial journey he was named as one of the 'Top Indian Leaders: The Next Generation 2018' and 'Top Indian Leaders 2017: The Next Generation', respectively, by Forbes, Middle East. He was honoured with 'Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2017' award at The India Seatrade Awards. At the India Maritime Awards (IMA) 2018 at Mumbai, he was adjudicated as the “Face of The Future". He was also recognised as a 'Global Next Generation Business Leader' by Lloyds List in 2015. He has been a Director on the Board since May 30, 2012.
