Emma Hughson

Emma Hughson is an experienced educator currently serving as a Special Education Teacher at Brevard Elementary within Transylvania County Schools since June 2022. Prior to this role, Emma gained valuable experience as a Direct Support Mentor and Direct Support Professional at RHA Health Services, LLC and Turning Point Services, Inc. respectively. Additionally, Emma worked at Starbucks as a Barista and Barista Trainer. Emma holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Western Carolina University and a Bachelor of Education in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
