Abdoulaye Balde

Abdoulaye Balde has a diverse work experience in civil engineering and roadway management. Abdoulaye is currently working as a Civil Engineer - Roadway at TranSystems since April 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Highway Engineer at the Missouri Department of Transportation from July 2017 to March 2022. Abdoulaye also worked as a Civil Engineer at Premier Engineering and Consultants from August 2015 to July 2017. Earlier in their career, Abdoulaye worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Kansas State University from January 2009 to December 2010.

Abdoulaye Balde began their education journey in 1996 at the University of Conakry, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Roads and Bridges. Abdoulaye successfully completed their program in 2002.

Afterwards, in 2004, Abdoulaye enrolled at Kansas City Kansas Community College, where they pursued an Associate of Applied Science degree in Computer-Aided Drafting and Design. Abdoulaye completed this program in 2008.

In 2009, Abdoulaye joined Kansas State University to further enhance their knowledge and skills in Civil Engineering. Abdoulaye pursued a Master of Science degree and specialized in the field of Civil Engineering. Abdoulaye'sprogram lasted from 2009 to 2010.

During 2014, Abdoulaye attended Johnson County Community College, where they obtained a certificate in Project Management.

Aside from their formal education, Abdoulaye also obtained several certifications to enhance their professional skills. In 2010, they acquired the Fundamentals of Engineering certification from the NATIONAL COUNCIL OF EXAMINERS FOR ENGINEERING AND SURVEYING. Additionally, in 2021, they obtained several AutoCAD Civil 3D certifications in various aspects of design, such as Designing Gravity Pipe Systems, Designing Residential Projects, Pressure Pipe Design, and Site Design.
