Ben Matthews, P.E., MBA has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Ben currently works as a Construction Project Engineer at TranSystems, a role they have held since August 2021. Prior to this, they were a Project Engineer at AECOM from October 2020 to August 2021.

Before joining TranSystems and AECOM, Ben spent a significant part of their career at CSX, where they held various positions including Construction Engineer II and Bridge Inspector. Their tenure at CSX lasted from January 2009 to June 2020.

Ben's professional journey began in the United States Marine Corps, where they served as a Squad Leader from January 2001 to January 2005. Throughout their career, Ben has acquired a diverse set of skills and experience in the construction and engineering industry.

Ben Matthews, P.E., MBA, obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Civil Engineering from Western Kentucky University in 2009. After working in the field for several years, they pursued further education and earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from Western Kentucky University in 2016. In addition to their degrees, Matthews has acquired certifications as a Professional Engineer in Maryland and Kentucky, obtained in March 2016 and October 2014 respectively.
