Kelsey Kropp

Kelsey Kropp has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Kelsey began their career as a Field Assistant at the Clallam County Noxious Weed Control Board in 2000 and continued in the same role in 2001. In these positions, they assisted the program coordinator in operations, conducted weed surveys, and provided accurate map information for new weed sites.

From 2005 to 2008, Kelsey worked at the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW). Kelsey took on increasing responsibilities across three separate seasonal positions, working long shifts of up to 15 hours. Their tasks included identifying and counting juvenile salmon, as well as conducting catch and release experiments to determine migration numbers.

In 2008, Kelsey became an English Teacher at Luo Hu Foreign Language School, where they taught until 2009. Kelsey then joined the 2nd High School Affiliated with Beijing Normal University as a PGA 10th grade English teacher. In this role, they taught up to 24 lessons per week, met tight deadlines, and designed engaging lesson plans on a daily basis.

Most recently, Kelsey has been working at TranSystems since November 2011. Kelsey initially served as a Scientist II before being promoted to Assistant Vice President. As the environmental team leader in the Kansas City office, they provide key project support on environmental matters, including wetland delineations, permitting, endangered species reviews, noise studies, and other regulatory items. Their expertise and experience make their a valuable asset to the company.

Kelsey Kropp attended the University of Washington from 2000 to 2004 where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Zoology and a Bachelor's degree in Biology with a focus on Ecology, Environment, and Evolution.
