Kevin Nguyen Pe

Kevin Nguyen, PE has over seven years of work experience in the field of structural engineering. Kevin is currently employed at TranSystems as a Structural Engineer II since March 2021. Prior to this, Kevin worked at FICCADENTI WAGGONER and CASTLE Structural Engineers (FWCSE) as a Project Engineer from September 2019 to March 2021.

From 2014 to 2019, Kevin worked at TranSystems in various roles. As a Structural Engineer II, they were involved in projects such as the USCG Borinquen Residences in Puerto Rico, where they analyzed seismic and wind forces on existing homes. Kevin also worked on the Port of Fernandina project, where they determined the load rating of the structure based on field investigations and As-Built plans.

As a Structural Engineer I, Kevin contributed to the I-5 Widening Project Segment 2 PS&E, assisting in the design, modeling, and drafting of bridges and ramps. Kevin also performed independent check design calculations and cost estimates for quality control purposes.

Kevin began their career as a Structural Engineer Intern at TranSystems, gaining valuable experience in the field.

Kevin Nguyen, PE obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Civil Engineering from UC Irvine, where they studied from 2011 to 2015. Kevin further pursued their education and earned a Master of Science (M.S.) in Structural Engineering from UC Irvine, completing their studies from 2016 to 2019. In addition to their degrees, Kevin Nguyen also holds the certification of Professional Engineer (Civil) from the California Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors, and Geologists, which they obtained in November 2018.
