Mark Woods, PE has extensive work experience in the field of structural engineering. Mark started their career as a Draftsmen & Soils Technician at NMG Geotechnical in 2001 and worked there until 2005. From 2005 to 2008, they worked at Vinci & Associates as a Structural Designer, where they were responsible for the design and detailing of commercial projects and custom residential homes. Mark then joined Next Step Design as a Project Structural Designer in 2008, where they managed telecommunication projects, residential projects, marine structures, and industrial and commercial buildings. In 2009, they moved to Grenier Engineering as a Project Structural Designer, where they handled multiple projects in Arizona, focusing on historic theater rehabilitation, hotels, and educational facilities. From 2009 to 2010, they worked at Next Step Design again as a Project Structural Designer, this time overseeing cellular, residential, marine structures, and industrial and commercial buildings. In 2011, they joined Wildman & Morris as a Project Engineer, supporting various areas of the company's infrastructure, such as accounting, budgeting, project management, administrative support, design and engineering services, and business development. Mark worked there until 2016, when they transitioned to J.S. Dyer & Associates as a Senior Project Engineer for a brief period before joining TranSystems in the same role. At TranSystems, Mark has supported various markets, including the Federal Government, States and Municipalities, Manufacturer and Distributors, and Airports and Air Carriers, serving as a Project Manager, Senior Project Engineer, or Engineer of Record.

Mark Woods, PE has a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Civil Engineering from California State University, Fullerton, which they obtained between 2000 and 2005. Mark has also obtained a certification as a Professional Engineer in Civil Engineering from the Board for Professional Engineers in January 2011.
