Michael Garcia, E.I.T. began their work experience in 2008 as a Structural CADD at Jacobs, where they stayed until 2011. From 2011 to 2012, they worked as a Civil Traffic CADD at Faller, Davis & Associates, Inc. Next, they joined WSP in 2012 as a Structures CADD, and they continued in this role until 2018. In 2018, they joined Volkert, Inc. as a Structural E.I., and they stayed in this role until 2023. Currently, they are working as a Bridge Engineer at TranSystems, starting in February 2023.

Michael Garcia, E.I.T. pursued their education in a chronological manner, starting with the General Studies program at Shelton State Community College from 2003 to 2005. Michael then briefly attended the University of Florida in 2005 and explored Architecture as a field of study. Subsequently, from 2007 to 2009, they obtained an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in CAD/CADD Drafting and/or Design Technology/Technician at Pasco-Hernando State College. Lastly, from 2010 to 2018, they attended the University of South Florida, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Civil Engineering.
