Ryan Curtis has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Ryan currently works at TranSystems as a Senior Business Development Coordinator, where they are responsible for developing winning strategies to secure work with state DOTs and federal agencies. Prior to this, they worked as a Business Development Coordinator at TranSystems, where they collaborated with engineers to create proposals and presentations.
In addition, Ryan has experience as an Author/freelance writer, working on their own brand as well as for other companies. Ryan has written books, blogs, and website content, and has worked with vendors, artists, and other editors to complete projects. Ryan has also utilized email and social media campaigns to promote their work.
Ryan's previous experience includes roles such as Marketing Coordinator at HNTB, Development Specialist at Progressive Agriculture Foundation, Project Manager at Duff Dynamic Marketing, and Freelance Marketing Manager at eyeSmith Optical. Ryan also worked as an Assistant Editor at Progressive Publishing, where they authored an award-winning article about flood victims.
During their time at BYU Athletic Communications, Ryan served as a Sports Information Director for the Men and Women's BYU Track team, as well as supporting other sports teams such as football, basketball, volleyball, softball, and baseball. Their responsibilities included writing press releases, creating content for the media guide, compiling statistics, setting up interviews, and writing features about individual athletes. Ryan also traveled with the teams to national and regional events.
Ryan Curtis attended Brigham Young University from 2005 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Communications. Prior to that, from 2003 to 2005, they attended LDSBC and obtained an Associates degree in General Studies.
