Ric Helmreich

Ric Helmreich is an experienced manufacturing professional with a background in engineering and management. Currently serving as the Manufacturing Manager at TranTek Automation since August 2022, Ric previously held the position of Manufacturing Engineer at Kalkaska Screw Products, Inc. from August 2016 to August 2022, and at BORIDE Engineered Abrasives from January 2008 to August 2016, specializing in production tool design using AutoCAD, equipment procurement, procedural documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives. Ric's career began at Federal Screw Works, where responsibilities included CAD technical work, CNC programming, and hydromat operations. A graduate of Ferris State University with a B.S. in Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Ric has also contributed as an NMC Lean Champion in 2011.
