Bethany Steddum

Bethany Steddum, PHR, SHRM-CP has over 15 years of Human Resources experience. Bethany began their career in 2005 as a Trainer/Assistant Manager for Islands Fine Burgers and Drinks. In 2008, they took on a Human Resources/Marketing Intern role with Maxim Healthcare. In 2010, they became a Human Resources Coordinator for SmithGroupJJR. In 2013, they joined Paychex as an HR Generalist, where they provided consultation services in Human Resources for approximately 50 local small businesses. In 2014, they moved to Homeowners Financial Group USA, LLC as an HR Generalist. In 2016, they joined Trapp Technology as Chief People Officer, where they founded, developed, and led the Human Resources department as the first HR Professional with the organization. Bethany also served as the Director of Human Resources and Human Resources Manager. In 2019, they became a Board Member and Mentorship Co-Chair for Girls in Tech Phoenix. In 2021, they joined ArmorPoint as Chief People Officer.

Bethany Steddum obtained their Bachelor of Science in Management from W. P. Carey School of Business - Arizona State University in 2009. In 2012, they obtained their Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI. In 2013, they began their Master of Science in Human Resources Development at Villanova University, which they completed in 2016. In 2015, they obtained their SHRM-CP certification from SHRM.
