Roberto Gardoni

Roberto Gardoni is a skilled Technical Engineer for refractories at Trasteel International SA since January 2020, focusing on product design and optimization to enhance performance in steelmaking and reduce production costs. Previously, Roberto managed operations in cold working areas at Gruppo Riva, overseeing production and maintenance for over 70 personnel, and served as Melting Shops Projects Manager, facilitating continuous improvement and project coordination across multiple steelmaking plants. From December 2014 to November 2017, Roberto was Quality Product Manager for wire rod products at Cogne acciai speciali, enhancing product quality and managing technical customer care. Roberto holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Politecnico di Milano, where studies were completed between 2009 and 2014, alongside an internship at ILVA SpA.
