Shekhar Raikar

Shekhar Raikar currently serves as a System Developer at TRATON GROUP and Scania Group since August 2025. Prior to this, Shekhar was a Control System Engineer at Hiab from September 2021 to August 2025, where responsibilities included developing safety-critical control features for heavy loader cranes, overseeing design implementation, and maintaining control systems software. Additional experience includes a Master Thesis Project at ITRL - Integrated Transport Research Lab (KTH) focused on model predictive optimization algorithms for motion planning, an internship at Bombardier Transportation, a summer position in Mechatronics R&D at Mycronic, and an internship at Dana Incorporated. Academically, Shekhar holds a Master of Science in Mechatronics from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, a Master's degree in Project Management from Stockholm University, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara College of Engineering and Technology.
