Desiree Lowit LICSW (MA), LCSW (NY) is a licensed clinical social worker with extensive experience in psychotherapy and trauma recovery. Since February 2014, Desiree has operated a private practice as a psychotherapist while also serving as the Trauma Recovery Network Western Massachusetts Area Coordinator for EMDR Humanitarian Assistance Programs, Inc., coordinating volunteer mental health professionals to offer pro-bono EMDR therapy in emergencies. Currently, Desiree is a Clinical Supervisor at the Trauma Institute & Child Trauma Institute, overseeing the clinical work of LICSW candidates in EMDR treatment modalities.
