Darlene Fedoroshyn

Executive Director International Markets at Travel Alberta

Darlene Fedoroshyn has extensive experience in the tourism industry, starting as a Travel Consultant at Navigant International from 1993 to 1998. Darlene then worked as a Tourism Marketing and Sales Coordinator at Canada Olympic Park from 1999 to 2003, where they promoted tourism products and secured bookings. From 2003 to 2007, Darlene served as the Manager of International Sales at Tourism Calgary, where they managed marketing tactics and budgets and developed cooperative programs with key tour operator accounts. Darlene then joined Travel Alberta in 2007 and held various roles, including Marketing Director for Europe & Australia from 2007 to 2013 and Marketing Director for Asia from 2013 to 2016. In these positions, they developed and implemented marketing strategies, established relationships with industry partners, and contributed to revenue and visitation growth from various markets. Since 2016, Darlene has been serving as the Director of Business Development at Travel Alberta.

Darlene Fedoroshyn attended Mount Royal University from 2017 to 2019, where they studied Strategic Management. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Leisure Tourism and Society from the University of Calgary, which they attended from 1989 to 1993. Darlene's earlier education is not specified, but it is known that they attended Sir Winston Churchill school at some point, although the years and the field of study are unknown.
