Elizabeth Gaerlan

Elizabeth Gaerlan is Senior Vice President of Public Relations & Communications at Internova Travel Group, one of the largest travel service companies in North America, where she is responsible for internal and external communications.

With more than 20 years of public relations and travel industry experience, Elizabeth directs the department responsible for telling the success stories of the Internova Travel Group brands and elevating consumer interest in working with the organization’s more than 65,000 travel advisor experts.

Ms. Gaerlan previously worked at Weber Shandwick, one of the world’s leading global public relations firms, where she led award-winning media relations campaigns for major travel and lifestyle brands, including American Airlines.

Prior to Weber Shandwick, Ms. Gaerlan served as Senior Vice President at M. Silver Associates, now part of FINN Partners, where she provided senior counsel and team leadership to some of the firms’ largest travel and tourism accounts. Her work earned her numerous Gold Adrian Awards, presented by the Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI), as well as a Cushman Award from the Society of American Travel Writers (SATW). She also previously held positions at top global agencies including Edelman, Porter Novelli and Hill+Knowlton Strategies.

Ms. Gaerlan holds a master’s degree in Business from Baruch College and an undergraduate degree from New York University.
