Ken Kubo is a seasoned mechanical engineer with extensive experience in reliability engineering and design. Currently, Ken serves as an Interim Manager at Portland General Electric since 2012, focusing on plant reliability and supporting the engineering team. Prior roles include a Reliability Analyst specializing in wind asset health and root cause analysis. Ken has held positions such as Senior Design Engineer at ESCO Corporation, where mentorship and advanced analytical training were key responsibilities, and as Design Engineer at Temco Metal Products Inc., leading projects for diesel generator development. Ken began a career in research and development and sales engineering before obtaining advanced degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Idaho.
