Clayton Barns

Clayton Barns is an accomplished environmental professional with extensive experience in environmental compliance and fieldwork. Currently serving as an Environmental Associate at TravelCenters of America since November 2019, Clayton manages compliance across over 70 truck stop locations in multiple states, focusing on USTs/ASTs, stormwater management, and hazardous waste regulations. Previously, at KERAMIDA Inc., responsibilities included oversight of environmental controls as an Environmental Inspector and report writing in roles as Staff Geologist and Field Geologist. Additional experience as a Field Geologist at EnviroForensics involved various ground and air sampling activities. Earlier career roles included a Logistics Technician at Schneider National and a Teaching Assistant at Ball State University, where Clayton earned a Bachelor's degree in Geology.
