Lisa Harris Jones

Ms. Harris Jones is one of our Independent Directors and is Chair of the Nominating and Governance Committee. In 2000, she founded Harris Jones & Malone, LLC and today remains the first and only African-American female in the State of Maryland to own and manage a law practice that focuses on lobbying, government relations, and procurement law matters at both the state and local levels. Ms. Harris Jones has represented municipalities and related quasi-public agencies; non-profits; and small and large business enterprises, both publicly and privately held. She has dedicated a great deal of her time and resources to matters of public interest. She has worked in a pro bono capacity for dyslexia education, community development in Baltimore City’s most challenging areas, and the advancement of Minority Business Enterprises. Ms. Harris Jones serves as a Lead Independent Trustee of Diversified Healthcare Trust (Nasdaq: DHC) and as an Independent Trustee of Industrial Logistics Properties Trust (Nasdaq: ILPT).
