Matthew Perkins has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. In 2004, they started at P.F. Chang's China Bistro as a busser and worked their way up to becoming a Key Hourly/Assistant Manager. Matthew gained experience in various roles such as lead server assistant, trainer, and scheduler. From 2010 to 2011, they worked as a Leasing Professional at Gables Residential, where they greeted prospects, provided information, and assisted with the leasing process. In 2011, Matthew joined the US Navy as a Fire Control Tech, attending multiple schools and serving as a leader for up to 150 sailors. After leaving the Navy in 2012, they returned to Gables Residential in 2013 as an Account Representative. In this role, they handled sales leads, built relationships with customers, and prepared sales orders. Matthew later transitioned to the role of Resident Relations Manager, where they focused on customer service, resident retention, and assisted with leasing and projects assigned by the Property Manager. In 2018, Matthew joined Travelers Haven as a Relocation Account Manager, assisting with finding and leasing furnished apartment homes nationwide. Matthew handled inbound leads, sourced options, prepared orders, and facilitated the leasing process. Most recently, in 2020, Matthew became an Assistant Volleyball Coach at Arete.

Matthew Perkins earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Government from Wright State University, where they studied from 2004 to 2009.
