Laurie Whipp

Laurie Whipp is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in event management, professional development, and vacation planning. Currently serving as the Director of Events & Professional Development at Louisiana REALTORS® since March 2022, Laurie also operates as a Certified Vacation Planner/Travel Agent with Travelmation, specializing in a wide range of vacation destinations and providing complimentary concierge services. Previous roles include Business Development Manager at Gulf States Insurance Company and Certified Vacation Planner with Closer to the Magic Vacation. Laurie's background in marketing includes positions as Director of Marketing for the Professional Insurance Agents of Louisiana and PIA of Louisiana Liaison for the Young Insurance Agents of Louisiana. Laurie holds a Bachelor's degree in Microbiology from Louisiana State University.
