Andrew S.

Andrew S. has extensive experience as a Head of Information Security, with their most recent role being at Travelodge Hotels Limited since June 2021. Prior to that, they held the same position at Hermes from January 2020 to May 2021. Andrew also worked at Zen Internet from July 2016 to December 2019, where they were both the Head of Information Security and the Head of Infrastructure. Before that, they were the Head of IT Infrastructure at Electricity North West from April 2014 to March 2016. Andrew'searlier experience includes being the Head of Infrastructure at South Yorkshire and Humberside Police from January 2012 to April 2014.

Andrew S. has a PgD in Computer Security and Forensics from the University of Bedfordshire, which they completed in 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Law from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, graduating in 1986. In addition to their degrees, Andrew has several certifications including Certified In Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) from ISACA, Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) from ISACA, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor - Information Security Certification from 7Safe - part of PA Consulting, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer - Information Security Certification from 7Safe Education, ITIL Foundation Level from ISEB LIMITED, and Prince 2 Practitioner from APMG International.
