Nick Jacobs

Nick Jacobs has a diverse work experience in the sales and hospitality industry. Nick is currently the Sales Director at Travelodge Hotels Limited since 2024. Prior to this, they worked at WeWork as the Head of Sales/Senior Director - All Access - International from 2021 to 2024. Nick also volunteered at the NHS as a Covid-19 Vaccination Centre Volunteer from 2021 to 2021. From 2017 to 2020, they held the position of Director of Sales - EMEA at Groupon, where they managed a team of 100 employees and was responsible for sales management and commercial strategy. Before that, they were the Sales Director - UK & International at Secret Escapes from 2016 to 2017. Nick also held various roles at Groupon, including Director of Business Development - EMEA and Head of Travel - Northern Europe, from 2015 to 2016. Prior to that, they worked at Mr & Mrs Smith as the Global Partnerships Director, Head of Commercial, and Head of Hotel Curation and Contracting from 2012 to 2015. Earlier in their career, they worked at Orbitz Worldwide as a Market Manager for the Middle East and London from 2009 to 2012. Nick started their career at Tui Travel PLC as a Purchasing Assistant and Overseas Sales Advisor from 2003 to 2009.

Nick Jacobs attended the University of Hull from 1996 to 1999, where they earned a 2:1 degree in Politics & International Relations. Prior to that, they completed their secondary education at Bedford Modern School between 1992 and 1996. Nick also obtained a certification in The Fundamentals of Digital Marketing from Google in 2020.
