Wai Yan Maung Maung Thin

Wai Yan Maung Maung Thin is an experienced engineering manager currently leading the Data Pipeline and Finance Operations at Traveloka since July 2019, managing teams of engineers and analysts in Singapore and Jakarta. Previously, as a senior data engineer, Wai Yan defined workflows for data ingestion and developed a "Change Data Capture" framework. Prior experience includes serving as a data engineer at DataSpark Pte Ltd, where Wai Yan engineered a data profiling tool and presented business insights using Tableau, and held roles as a senior software engineer and software engineer at NextLabs, Inc., where Wai Yan developed secure data collaboration portals and various services. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Computer Science from the National University of Singapore, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Nanyang Technological University Singapore, and a Diploma in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from Ngee Ann Polytechnic.
