Dominic Binefa

Dominic joined Travelopia in 2010 when it was part of TUI Travel PLC. Prior to his appointment as CFO in October 2016 he held various Group Finance roles and was Finance Director for the Adventure Travel Division for a year. Before Travelopia, Dom worked at PwC, where he gained his ACA qualification and worked for their Assurance practice and also he worked for Iberia Airlines in Madrid.

Dom naturally has a passion for travel and has backpacked extensively around numerous countries with his wife and is keen on kayaking and white-water-rafting. His travel highlight was volunteering on a game reserve in South Africa for ten weeks, which centered around conducting big-cat and elephant research. Other than travel, Dom enjoys photography and at home always has a DIY or restoration project on the go. He’s also often seen on stage, acting and singing with a local theatre group. Currently, however, he spends more time singing to his two young daughters than anyone else.

Favorite travel moment: Tracking cheetah and rhino on foot whilst volunteering on a game reserve in South Africa.
